ABOUT THE CHEF

As a young girl Chef Britney was introduced to the colorful flavors of Mexican cuisine thanks to her grandmother from Veracruz, Mexico.

Every Tuesday she would visit her Grandmother's house where she would experience and be taught the flavors from a part of her culture.

After coming back home from her weekly visits she would play around in the kitchen trying to recreate the flavors she experienced in her Abuela's kitchen and as time passed her love of cooking and culinary skills grew.

 

After dabbling in different career paths it wasn't until the summer of 2020 that Britney decided to turn that love into a career. Opening her first take out business Mami's Kitchen Brantford, where she made delicious authentic Mexican street food to a town that had never experienced such flavor, the business was a local hit! From there Chef Britney worked in several restaurants and transformed her take out business to a catering and private chef event experience.
